Log out and back in after changing group membership.

Busytag USB

Choose Busytag in the device picker, then connect with a USB data cable in desktop Chrome or Edge. Close the companion app before connecting. On Linux, check access to the serial port (usually the dialout or uucp group).

Text, images, and GIFs are prepared locally at 240 × 280. Uploads must fit within 1 MB. Older firmware can take longer to confirm a large upload; wait for the device confirmation.

Quick checks

• Use a current Chrome or Edge browser on desktop or Android.
• Choose Connect via Bluetooth, then select the badge by its displayed name or ID, such as iledcolor-5F0D.
• The site detects Badge Magic / LSLED and iLEDColor / SPOTLED 48 × 12 badges automatically.
• Disconnect the phone app first; only one device can control the badge.
• On Android, allow Chrome’s nearby-devices permission. Older Android versions may also require Location to be enabled.
• Try a short message first to verify a compatible variant.
